Trail through the Readout: Home Figure board Return plates
Pandagoo return windows and refund days, read closely
Five return clocks, a rule on postage and a line on lost parcels, set against the "no-questions-asked" slogan they sat beneath.
Returns are where most buyers first meet the small print. The archive gives five clocks (5, 5, 3, 12 and 3 days), one rule on who pays postage and one candid line about lost parcels. The plates below lay them out in the order you would meet them.
Plate: a return request allowed for five days after signing
Returns to Chinese sellers had a self-service window, and it was short.

2.If your items were signed for within 5 days can apply for return here, for other situation you need contact the customer service to help you deal with.
What it comes to
The self-service return button covered items signed for in the last five days. In context "signed for" most plausibly means the warehouse taking delivery, since these returns go back to the Chinese seller. After day five the route is a support ticket, which is slower and less certain.
Check before you pay
- Open the arrival photos the day they land and decide within five days.
- Ask the seller's return policy before buying; the agent can only pass on what the seller allows.
- If day five has passed, contact support at once rather than waiting for the button.

Plate: Weidian sellers get five days, Taobao sellers three
The archive copied the marketplaces' own dispute clocks into its help text.

2.Return application on taobao, if the seller does not deal with the application within 3 days, the system will agree the the return application automatically.
What it comes to
Once a return was lodged, a silent seller lost by default: three days on Taobao, five days on Weidian ("if the seller does not deal with the application within 5 days, the system will agree the the return application automatically"). These clocks belong to the marketplaces, not to Pandagoo, which is why they differ.
Check before you pay
- Expect a Weidian return to take two days longer to clear the first stage than a Taobao one.
- A seller who refuses inside the window ends the automatic route; then it becomes a negotiation.
- 1688 has no automatic clock in the archive; ask before buying wholesale goods you might return.
Plate: twelve days for a refund to reach the balance
The refund clock is the longest of the return clocks, and it ends in the account balance.
12
days to reach the balance
Refund
Archive wording
After the seller agree the return application, the money will refund to your balance within 12 days.
What it comes to
After the seller agreed, the refund could take up to twelve days, and it went to the account balance, not back to your card or PayPal. Getting it off the site was a separate withdrawal.
Check before you pay
- Treat refunded money as credit for the next order unless you ask for a withdrawal.
- Log the date the seller agreed; it starts the twelve days.
- Ask for a withdrawal promptly if you do not plan to order again.
Plate: who covers domestic return postage
The rule on postage is buried at the end of a long sentence about the order of events.

Archive wording
1. After receiving your return application, we will contact the seller, if the seller agree, we will ship it back to the seller‘s address after the seller receiving it and refund us, we will refund to your balance. If none quality problem, you need undertake the domestic shipping fee for return.
What it comes to
A change of mind costs the domestic postage back to the seller. A fault does not, by implication. The order of events matters too: the seller must receive the goods and refund the agent before the agent refunds you, so the slowest link sets the pace.
Check before you pay
- Photograph the fault in the warehouse photos before asking for a return; it decides who pays postage.
- Ask the seller for the return address cost estimate if the item is heavy.
- Compare the postage with the item price; returning a cheap tee often makes no sense.
Plate: three days from delivery to report a fault
This window opens when the international parcel reaches your door, and it is the tightest one for buyers.

2. If you have any after-sales problems, please contact customer service within 3 days of receiving the package, and please keep the relevant unpacking photos and videos.
What it comes to
Once the international parcel reached you, problems had to be raised within three days, backed by photos and video of the unpacking. This is a much tighter window than the five days for domestic returns, and it is the one that catches people out on holiday.
Check before you pay
- Film the parcel from sealed to empty, in one unbroken take, with the label visible.
- Open the parcel within a day of delivery, not at the weekend.
- Write to support inside the three days even if you are still gathering evidence.
Plate: Xianyu and Weidian goods that may not come back
The purchase form for links from smaller platforms carried a standing warning.
may not
return on Xianyu or Weidian
Platform warning
Archive wording
Please consider carefully before placing orders for products purchased on Xianyu and Weidian, as they may not support returns and exchanges.
What it comes to
Second-hand Xianyu (now marketed as Goofish) sellers and small Weidian shops often do not take returns at all. The warning sits in the purchase form for links from those platforms, alongside a note that prices, quantities and postage on such listings need checking by hand.
Check before you pay
- Ask the seller directly, through the order note, whether returns are accepted.
- For Xianyu, ask for extra photos of wear before paying.
- Assume a Weidian item is final sale unless the shop says otherwise.
Plate: lost parcels and third-party carriers
Loss in transit is the case returns rules cannot fix. The archive is clear about whose problem it was.
0
agent liability for carrier loss
Lost parcels
Archive wording
Third-party logistics carriers are responsible for delivering packages. If the package is lost, Platform is not responsible for the loss. Platform can assist users in coordinating compensation with the third-party logistics carrier.
What it comes to
Once handed to a carrier, a lost parcel was the carrier's problem and yours, with the agent offering only to help coordinate. The insurance line on the freight bill exists for this reason. The longer risk notice lists "confiscation, damage, loss, and peak delivery delays" as risks the buyer bears.
Check before you pay
- Insure parcels you could not afford to lose, and set the insured amount yourself.
- Keep the tracking number and the three parcel photos; they are the evidence a carrier claim needs.
- Ask what the insurance pays out on, and in which currency, before relying on it.
Slogan against rule on returns
Pandagoo's marketing and its help text described returns in two registers. Reading them together prevents a common misunderstanding.

No-questions-asked returns and exchanges
What it comes to
The marketing tiles promised "No-questions-asked returns and exchanges" and "Return and exchange free of handling fee", qualified by "(area within China)". The rules underneath said the buyer pays postage when nothing is wrong, the seller must agree, and some platforms may not allow returns at all. Both can be true at once: the agent added no fee of its own, while the seller and the post office still could.
Check before you pay
- Read slogans as the agent's own fee, and the rules as the whole cost.
- Quote the specific rule, not the slogan, when you raise a ticket.
- Check the seller's terms on the listing itself.
- Warehouse plates photos that decide a return
- Deadline stack calculator every return clock as a date
- Reader questions help for stuck returns
